McCall Almada - Personal Trainer/Corrective Exercise​ Hi! My name is McCall and I'm originally from Santa Barbara California. Growing up near the beach with sun all year round, I was involved in many outdoor and athletic activities from the age of 12 when I started the Hawaiian sport of outrigger canoe paddling. I have also been heavily involved in gymnastics, dance, arial arts, scuba diving, rock climbing, swimming, surfing, weight lifting, and biking. I first began working as a personal trainer at age of 15 and have worked in many gyms as well as trained clients privately in their homes. For the past 3 years, I have worked in a physical therapy clinic in Beverly Hills, CA. called Progression where I worked directly with patients recovering from a wide variety of surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic or degenerative orthopedic conditions giving detailed exercise instruction and close one on one supervision of prescribed therapeutic exercises. After the completion of their treatment, many chose to continue with me in private personal training sessions to progress their capabilities beyond functional recovery to a higher level of athleticism. I am always personally invested and dedicated to the goals and progress of each client I work with. I always make myself available for questions and concerns via phone and text 24/7. I hold an Associate Degree in Exercise Science and a Certification as a Fitness Specialist both from Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, CA. I have a strong understanding of biomechanics, injury prevention, anatomy, exercise physiology, and am skilled in manual soft tissue release. Fitness is my personal life passion and calling. I am eager to be working with new clients and facing new challenges with them!

Katie Hornberger - CFT Exhausted, grappling with brain fog, and feeling sluggish became my daily struggle. Juggling the responsibilities of being a mother to four boys, I realized the pressing need to prioritize my health to serve my family more effectively. I aspired to be the mom who showed up at her best every day, but I was not. Fast forward to shedding 25 pounds, reducing my body fat by 15%, and losing numerous inches, —I never envisioned the transformation that would take place and spark that would ignite to share this passion for health and wellness with others. This transformation extends beyond the physical realm, creating a positive ripple effect in every aspect of life. I'm passionate about conveying the message that anyone can reach their goals, experience enhanced well-being, and elevate their life in multiple areas. It all begins with a commitment to change habits, prioritize nutrition and clean eating, and strive to be a slightly better version of yourself each day, building upon that progress. As a certified fitness trainer I am here to support and guide you on this journey because we all benefit from a bit of encouragement and accountability!

Mica Johnson - CPT/CFSC/Marketing Manager Growing up I was an active teen, involved in golf and captain of my Cheer squad. After high school, College took it's toll. Working fast food, I noticed the pounds begin to pack on but quickly blamed it on the freshman 15. After college, getting married and having two kids I decided it was time to get back in shape. I met Amy and Miranda when I joined the first Fat Loss Challenge at APF. After training with them for a year I decided to do my first of many Figure Competitions and this started my journey in the fitness world! While continuing to be a full time mom, wife and photographer; I noticed that more and more of my time was being devoted to fitness, food prep and trying to make my family healthier as a whole. I began teaching classes...and this lead to teaching more classes! I LOVE spending time with my friends I have met at APF, every class is just more time to spend with these amazing people! Rachel Ruthven - CFT Growing up I was always active but struggled with my weight and confidence. 509-220-8087 ♦ RachelR@apersonalfit.com I have tried all the crazy fad diets. One of the activities I enjoyed was riding dirt bikes. From there riding turned into racing. I started training heavily to become the best I could be. If I was not on the motocross track I was in the gym training. I reached the pro ranks and traveled all over winning championships. When my racing carrier came to a close I meet the love of my life, and have two beautiful children one boy one girl. As time went on I started to feel sick with many different health issues I finally was diagnosed with lupus. I became very depressed and gained a lot of weight at my heaviest I was 230lbs I could not take it anymore and said enough is enough! I decided to make a change. I began the journey of learning proper nutrition and getting back into the gym and finding new challenges for myself to conquer. I started running marathons and doing spartan race’s . I started competing in powerlifting for USA powerlifting. So happily, I did away with the size 13’s and traded them for a size for 4. I Went back to school at the international sport science ISSA and got certified A fitness and nutrition specialist. As a personal trainer I want to share the joys of health and fitness that has brought so much joy into my life.

Amy Brantner - CFT/SFN/CFSC/Certified DNA Program Designer/Certified Glute Specialist - 2017 Overall Physique Champion - 2019 National and World's Powerlifitng Champion I have gone through many of the same weight loss trial and errors that everyone has. I have tried almost every diet that exists, every diet pill and every workout program that has been advertised on TV; just to find out that there is no magic pill and that the workout programs either gather dust or they were not the right program for me. In 2007 my husband and I decided to put some new trees in front of our house. After shoveling only two shovels full of dirt I was out of breath! I thought, "OK this is ENOUGH, I have to get into shape!" I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life. Something had to change and change now! I decided to conduct some research on weight loss and discovered how our body works and figured out what to eat and why and what exercises I needed that would fit my goals and my lifestyle. Fitness and health became my hobby, my children saw my enthusiasm and started asking questions and now read food labels and want to exercise with me; it is a great feeling to know that I am setting a great example for my children. After all my hard work and persistence I was so excited to reach my goals. I lost 27 pounds (I am only 5’2”, so that is a lot of weight for me) and went from 29% body fat to 18% body fat and went from a women’s size 9 to a junior’s size 1. I grew such a passion for health and fitness that I decided to enroll in school to become a personal trainer. I became a Certified Fitness Trainer and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the International Sport​s Science Association (ISSA), where I learned to work with all ages of people, all fitness levels and now have the ability to provide nutritional advice. I know how I felt when I met my goal, which is why I am so excited to help you reach your goals! No more dieting, you will be making a long-term lifestyle change.
